WSVN 7
South Florida's original "if-it-bleeds-it-leads" station was the first FOX affiliate in the nation to have 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts, and it now airs an amazing – and market-leading – eight hours of local news every weekday, starting at 5 a.m. and ending at 11:30 p.m. All that original programming means Miami's WSVN-Channel 7 hires more people more often than any other South Florida station.

If you intern, they will work you overnights, even if you're a college student. So you're best off taking the earliest classes you can, then going home to sleep in the afternoons before doing it all over again.
You'll work from 2-8 am no matter what. You work that shift for 3 months then you'll get moved to another shift or you can move into the web center. The people are really nice, but clique-y.
I agree with the clique-y part. It's a small community and they will help you. After 3 months you can get hired pretty much anywhere else. It is a really good experience if you want to get into news writing. The pay is bad though.
