As one in a chain of 41 business weeklies, the Deerfield-based South Florida Business Journal follows the successful formula laid down by its parent company, American City Business Journals, the nation's largest publisher of urban business newspapers. There's a big emphasis on real estate and law firms, with an online edition that stresses breaking business news (the better to compete against the three zoned editions of the Daily Business Review).
