It's been a couple of years, so maybe things have changed, but we used PageMaker to design the newsletters – software that isn't even made anymore. The job interview is rigorous. You get interviewed by two editors, are handed an assignment to do at home over a couple of days, then come back for a personality test. The actual job is mellower than interviewing for it.

What is it like to actually work for them?

They seem to run a lot of job ads so I'm wondering if it's because of high turnover.

The place is run by hypocrites. LRP publishes newsletters telling other companies the best way to treat their employees, but it doesn't even come close to follow following its own advice.

Very sterile working environment.

Upper management treats employees like children. They often lose very solid workers after a couple of years, because they don't know to treat people as adults. LRP claims it provides education benefits (reimbursing you for a college course or class), but when I was there, all the people who applied for it were turned down for one reason or another. In other words, it was pure BS.
